Job Description

Do you want to get in on the ground floor of a fast growing VC-backed robotic automation company that’s helping to fuel the rapid rise in eCommerce? Join Pickle Robot! We’re a diverse team of 18 full-time employees teaching off-the-shelf robot arms how to pick (get it?), sort, and stack boxes.
 
As a Senior Marketing Associate at Pickle Robot, you will be responsible for generating excitement about Pickle to our partners and the general public, a core part of our growth flywheel  You will conduct research to help with product positioning in the ecosystem, generate content (articles, videos, designs, emails, website), and build our following (emails, trade shows, case studies, demos), while working cross-functionally with the entire team.

You are a

    • Industry researcher. Research the broad industry (competitors, trends, customers) and form insights to inform product positioning and value communication
    • Content machine. Responsible for weaving together all the happenings around Pickle into fresh content that will inspire the broader community.  Ensure lots of Pickle puns.
    • Marketer extraordinaire. Drive a monthly update email to Partners, public announcements, and host tradeshows to drive sales qualified leads and Partner conversions.
    • Product launcher. Develop strategies to maximize the excitement generated from product launches.  Own the GANTT to maximize excitement.

You should have

    • 2+ years in product marketing in a robotics or hardware context but at least with a strong desire to ship robots!
    • Prior demonstrated impact in growing a brand and company following
    • Ability to unpack, identify, and quantify nuanced customer needs
    • Strong communication skills;  enthusiastic and creative.
    • Familiarity with Agile, and background in user testing and/or project management
    • Undergrad in Marketing or Engineering from top university or equivalent experience
