Job Description

Modulate's ToxMod is a proven solution that solves crucial problems for game studios across the industry, and the Business Development Team is looking to scale Modulate’s customer pipeline! Game studios have no visibility into the bad behavior that happens over voice chat today. We need your help to bring this amazing community safety platform to studios everywhere and truly make online spaces safer for all.
 
If you are well-connected with studios in the video game industry, and are passionate about improving online safety, then the Business Development Team wants to meet you!   
 
The salary for this position is set to $100,000/year plus commission, with on-target earnings of roughly $180,000 (including guaranteed variable comp while you ramp up and build your pipeline), along with accelerated commission for those able to exceed their targets. Candidates for this role may be based anywhere in the U.S., but ideally would be located within a convenient distance to larger gaming hubs like LA, Seattle, Boston, New York, or Raleigh. A willingness to travel is required.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

    • Manage the sales process end-to-end from discovery call to closing the deal
    • Deeply understand ToxMod's capabilities, how it differentiates itself from legacy moderation solutions, and effectively illustrate the value the product offers to game studios
    • Find and cultivate prospect customers, using a combination of market research, conference attendance, industry networking, and other tactics
    • Support existing customers throughout their customer journey, and drive upsell + cross-selling efforts
    • Stay abreast of industry trends within gaming, moderation, and the broader Trust & Safety space
    • Meet sales goals and hit targets
