Capita is a venture-backed web3 startup working on changing the way we invest and create wealth. We help to launch, operate and govern investment DAOs as simple as setting up a Shopify store.

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to help build the future DAO infrastructure which empowers individuals to govern themselves in a true decentralized manner and collectively make an impact.

As a Full Stack Engineer you will work on building delightful UI/UX and backend services integrated with EVM-compatible blockchain networks in its full development lifecycle. You will have considerable autonomy and the chance to impact a product from its inception to its delivery. If you join us in 2022, you will be an early team member and help us shape decisions about what we are building and why, who we hire, and company culture.

You will

• Work closely with Capita founding team on product design and launch
• Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are intuitive, performant and bug free
• Architect, develop and maintain web applications that are efficient and reliable
• Integrate the user interface with backend services and smart contracts on EVM-compatible blockchain networks
• Design and implement backend services to support the frontend and interact with smart contracts
• Identify vulnerabilities and opportunities in the product being built and execute on them

What we are looking for

• 2+  years of experience with React and Node.js in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with component-based frameworks
• 4+ years experience with data structures, algorithms and software design patterns in either an academic or industrial environment
• Fluency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing and end-to-end testing
• Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines and proficiency in Git
• Self-motivation to efficiently run with a project without close supervision
• Basic understanding of blockchain technology and its implications
• Passion for learning the latest trends in web app development and backend services architecture
• Intellectual curiosity for blockchain-related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice to haves

• Experience with Typescript, Next.js, Ethers.js, Solidity
• Experience with cryptography, blockchain, smart contracts, token standards, DAO etc.
• Understanding of software development life cycle
• Demonstrated leadership in product development
• Great communication skills with designers, developers and business decision makers

Salary: 100K - 150K
