Job Description

Modulate’s Content Marketing Associate will be responsible for generating and managing content to help ensure a consistent, authentic voice across our owned content channels, including the Modulate blog, social media channels, website, email newsletter, external media partners, and more. This includes conducting keyword and topic research, developing content that is engaging and easy to read, publishing and executing Modulate’s content and content strategy, and managing external partners and contractors in content generation.
 
The salary for this position is set at $95,000/yr. This position will operate under our hybrid policy with 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) in-office in Somerville, MA.

Specifically, you will:

    • Develop innovative and creative marketing content to drive awareness, interest, and engagement with the Modulate brand
    • Collaborate across internal teams to deliver effective content and editorial planning across channels
    • Own Modulate’s social channels, developing an organic social content calendar and interacting with relevant customers, partners, and industry leaders as appropriate
    • Help manage and expand Modulate’s email marketing program
    • Measure and optimize ongoing campaigns, adjusting content and approach as necessary
    • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing content processes through email, content, and social channels
    • Seek out internal stakeholders and team members to source ideas, stories, and technical content
    • Manage and collaborate with external teams, agencies, and contractors responsible for content, design, and other marketing-related functions
    • Stay on top of industry news and trends to capitalize on important and relevant stories

Desired Qualifications:

    • Past experience in digital communications or digital marketing
    • Experience with content management systems and web development process
    • Experience creating content and growing a social audience
    • Personal or professional background managing social media channels
    • BA/BS or equivalent working experience

Optional Qualifications:

    • Experience in email marketing, segmentation, and automation
    • Experience with Webflow and Canva
    • Experience with LinkedIn Business Manager / Campaign Manager
    • Experience with HubSpot
    • Understanding of SEO and SEM best practices
