As a Technical Solution Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our commercial setup, working closely with our sales team to understand customer requirements, develop tailored solutions, and oversee the execution of proof of concepts. You will serve as a bridge between our technical capabilities and the needs of our clients, ensuring seamless communication and successful project delivery.


Role responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and translate them into comprehensive solution proposals.

  • Develop a deep technical understanding of Venti’s solution. Be the source of truth on our system’s capabilities, strength and weaknesses.

  • Thoughtfully assess the feasibility of client needs and requests including resources required, timelines and technical risks.

  • Lead pre-sales activities, including participating in customer meetings, gathering requirements, and conducting product demonstrations.

  • Develop and present compelling presentations, proposals, and statements of work (SOW) tailored to each customer's unique needs.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to develop and refine solution offerings.

  • Drive the creation of proof of concepts (PoCs) and pilot programs, overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation phases.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on our autonomous vehicle systems and the logistics environments we operate in, providing technical guidance and support to both internal teams and external clients.

  • Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop collateral and sales tools that effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on pre-sales activities, pipeline status, and customer feedback to senior management.


Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (5 years) in a pre-sales or solution consulting role within the technology industry, preferably with a focus on complex software or hardware solutions.

  • Deep understanding of autonomous vehicle systems, including sensor technologies, machine learning algorithms, and software architectures.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand customer challenges and objectives, with a track record of successfully translating them into viable solutions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive initiatives to completion.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Willingness to travel globally (50%) to customer sites for meetings, workshops, and presentations on a short notice.

  • Proactive attitude with a passion for technology and innovation, coupled with a desire to make a significant impact in the autonomous vehicle industry.
