About the Position
We're looking for a Backend Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2025. This internship will focus on backend development, using Python to build and optimize web applications and services. You'll be working alongside senior engineers to contribute to real-world projects from day one, so being able to learn quickly and adapt to feedback is key.

Responsibilities
- Work with Python to develop and improve backend services
- Use Docker for containerized applications and deployments
- Implement asynchronous programming with asyncio to enhance performance
- Support web applications and platforms, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently
- Debug, test, and optimize code with the help of the team
Requirements
- Python coding experience
- Basic understanding of Docker and async programming (asyncio)
- Familiarity with web apps or platforms
- Ability to learn quickly and be productive with feedback
Bonus
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Knowledge of SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL
$25 - $30 an hour
