As adoption of voice AI continues to accelerate, we're expanding our Enterprise Sales team and looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to help bring Modulate's technology to some of the world's most innovative companies.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join a growing team, help define our enterprise go-to-market motion, and directly influence the next stage of company growth.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Account Executive to drive net-new enterprise business for Modulate's Voice AI platform, models, and solutions.

This is a true hunting role focused on identifying, prospecting, and closing new customers. You'll own a defined territory and set of strategic accounts, working across both technical and business stakeholders—from developers and product teams to executives and budget owners.

Success in this role requires a strong outbound mentality, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles.

What You'll Do

Drive New Enterprise Revenue

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.

  • Identify, engage, and close new enterprise customers.

  • Build relationships with technical buyers, business users, and executive stakeholders.

  • Develop strategic account plans and multi-threaded engagement strategies.

  • Consistently generate and advance opportunities through outbound prospecting and targeted account penetration.

Own Strategic Accounts & Verticals

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 50–100 target accounts.

  • Focus on a defined set of strategic Tier 1 accounts while maintaining broader territory coverage.

  • Develop expertise within assigned industry verticals and tailor outreach accordingly.

  • Build long-term relationships that position Modulate as a trusted Voice AI partner.

Create Pipeline Through Outbound Activity

  • Generate a significant portion of pipeline through proactive outbound efforts.

  • Leverage account-based selling strategies to break into complex organizations.

  • Develop creative approaches to engage technical, operational, and executive decision-makers.

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline capable of supporting quota attainment and future growth.

Partner Across the Organization

  • Work closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams.

  • Provide customer and market feedback that helps shape product and go-to-market strategy.

  • Collaborate on strategic opportunities and complex enterprise deals.

  • Act as the voice of the customer internally.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS (Call Center or Conversational AI), infrastructure, AI, developer tools, or technology sales.

  • Proven track record of exceeding quota in a net-new business environment.

  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong outbound prospecting and pipeline generation skills.

  • Ability to engage technical audiences while effectively communicating business value.

  • Excellent discovery, negotiation, and closing abilities.

  • Self-starter mentality with strong ownership and accountability.

  • Excitement about emerging AI technologies and the opportunity to help define a category.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling AI, machine learning, developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or other highly technical solutions.

  • Familiarity with enterprise software buying processes.

  • Experience selling to product, engineering, developer, operations, or technology leadership teams.

  • Experience thriving in startup or high-growth environments.

Success Metrics

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • New annual recurring revenue (ARR) generated.

  • Pipeline creation and opportunity development.

  • Strategic account penetration.

  • Quota attainment.

  • Overall contribution to Modulate's enterprise growth objectives.

Expected annual quota is approximately $1.4M–$1.7M in new business revenue.
